Damage to the strike position
It occurs when the strength of the raw material is insufficient or there are particle impurities between the hydraulic hammer piston and chisel. This phenomenon does not occur in one time or a short period of time. These small particle impurities occur between piston and the top of chisel and the top of the chisel will be slightly broken or cracked. After multipe blows, the factured area will spread. The user should always pay attention to the working conditions to prevent situation from deteriorating and not to do unnecessary harm to the breaker. The warrantly length of the chisel is the 10% of the total length.
Damage to the strike position
When the materials own have some condition like tiny crack, the phenomenon shown in the picture will occur. The strike position can be broken instantly, especially when the piston has greater impact force. If the operator continue to use, the pieces of the chisel in the breaker will do damage to the piston. This kind of problem belongs to raw material problem and we can offer compensation.

Deflaction
When the accessories of the breaker chisels, like bush sets and piston get old and attrited, the chisel always can not keep original position after installation, which lead to uncomplete contact between piston and the strike position and the deflaction will occur. Operator need pay attention to the daily protection and change the old or tatty accessories in time. Besides, serious deflaction caused by human operation also can lead to similar problem. We won’t offer compensation if the deflaction is caused by aging of accessories or human operation.

Blank firing
Blank firing is the result of the operator’s unskilled use or lack of concentration. Operator should find problem and solve it, polish the damaged areas themselve. Otherwise, the falling iron pieces may travel up the gap between the chisel and the bush set of the breaker until make the piston and chisel collide, causing both strike position of the chisel and piston double damage. We can’t offer compensation at this kind of situation.
Chisel flat sheath is broken
If the raw material own has unstable impurities, some microcracks invisible to the naked eye may occur on the surface of chisel. The damage of the microcracks will be visible when using after heat treatment. Often the fractures caused by this reasons are very neat, just like cutting. Compensation is available in such cases.
Raw material defect
There are bad spots inside the material, and the vacuum degassing during the steekmaking is not ideal, which will results in bubbles inside the material. This kind of material cracks along the point where gas is present after heat treatment and the chisel is easy to crack like cutting. This kind of situation belongs to raw material defect and we can offer compensation.
Chisel operation
When the chisel is broken into two halves , each of the two pieces has a obvious concave and convex surface, and there are obvious cracks along the fracture starting point on the fracture surface. This is caused by irregular lever operation, oblique angle operation and pulling operation. The chisel is subjected to huge side stress on the adjacent surface with the object or breaker, which greatly exceeds the stress range that the chisel can understand. This fracture surface direction almost is same as the flat sheath direction. Compensation is unavailable in this case. The operator should manipulate normatively.
Chisel operation
The chisel is broken into three pieces, two pieces have concave surface, and the other one has irregular triangular shape. The reason why chisel cracks is the chisel has penetrated deeply into the object and then swings back and forth. The chisel is subjected to huge side stress on the adjacent surface with the object or breaker, which greatly exceeds the stress range that the chisel can understand. This fracture surface direction almost is same as the flat sheath direction. Compensation is unavailable in this case. The operator should manipulate normatively.
Broken tip
Tip hardness of the chisel is high, so when starting using, please don’t use with big hitting power or directly on excessively hard rock and other places. Before operation the new chisel should be preheated with small strike power. And the operate chisel normally after it adapt to the working condition, just like perople do exercise. Thus chisel can play its biggest effort. In addition, when crushing reinforced concrete structures, this phenomenon will also occur then the tip of the chisel is stuck into the steel rebar. Then we can’t offer compensation, please handle the tip before using.
Tip forging problem
DNG chisels are designed and producted for normal hydraulic working. The operator should change them in time. Random and excessive forging of the chisel will cause excessive stress on the strike position and lead to wear. We can’t offer compensation against this kind of problem. If you special require, please tell us before booking.
Mushrooming shape
Avoid striking the same place more than 30 seconds. Too much time hitting may lead to excessive heat build-up at the working, and may cause the damage as “mushrooming” shape.If object isn’t broken after long time hitting, please change the hitting point. Compensation can’t be offerred by us against this phenomenon, please handle the sharp and continue to use.
Bending chisel
When user make irregular lever or pulling work, the chisel that has normal hardness is easy to break. But if the hardness of the chisel is not enough, then it still has toughness, which lead to bending. Often the bending direction is the same as the flat sheath direction. Product warping caused by insufficient heat treatment can get compensation.
Chisel cracks
